The Abh Empire prepares for war. Meanwhile, Lafiel and Jinto’s attempts at blending in with the local populace go awry.

Following their escape from Baron Febdash territory, Lafiel and Jinto are cut off and must initiate an emergency landing on Sufugnoff.

The Baron’s vassals must decide with whom their loyalties lie, and Lafiel’s attempt to rescue Jinto comes to a head.

Lafiel has had enough of Baron Febdash’s supposed “hospitality” and puts her escape plan into effect.

Jinto and Lafiel arrive at Baron Febdash’s territory to refuel, but what starts out as a pleasant sidetrack takes an ominous turn.

The enemy closes in on the Gosroth and the battle begins. Meanwhile, Lafiel and Jinto try to distract themselves from the most likely outcome of the encounter.

The Gosroth is attacked by enemy forces, so the captain orders Lafiel and Jinto to escape to the planet Sufugnoff

Jinto meets the captain of the patrol ship Gosroth and learns more about Lafiel.

Sitting idly in a spaceport, Jinto awaits his Abh chaperone. Having never seen an Abh in person before, reality and his expectations don’t quite match up.
