Howard. It is a new adaptation, separate from the earlier 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger films. The film stars Jason Momoa in the lead role. It also features Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, Bob Sapp and Rachel Nichols, with Marcus Nispel directing.The film had spent seven years in development at Warner Bros. before the rights were shifted to Nu Image/Millennium Films in 2007, with a clause wishing for immediate start on production. Lionsgate and Sony Pictures entered negotiations for distribution, with the film seeing many directors, prominently Brett Ratner, before settling on Nispel in 2009 and has since brought together a cast and crew. Filming began on March 15, 2010 and concluded on June 5, 2010. The film will be released on August 19, 2011.

Yakumo and Pai return to Japan from Hong Kong after the Statue of Humanity disappears from the mysterious Mrs. Huang's mansion. Yakumo returns to school and his friends in the hopes of resuming a normal life. But nothing is normal when you're an undead zombie bound to a magical being and demons start attacking your schoolmates on the playground!

Yakumo Fugii, an ordinary Japanese student, inherits the care of Pai, a young girl from Nepal, from his dying archaeologist father. But Pai is more than she innocently appears to be. She is the last of a vanished magical race known as the Sanjiyan Unkara, or Triclops, and is in a desperate hunt against the forces of darkness to find the Ningen no Zou (Statue of Humanity) to turn her human. Yakumo nearly dies in a fight against a demon and to save him, Pai turns him into a Wu, a zombie bound to her service who cannot die. Yakumo and Pai travel to Hong Hong to meet with Ling Ling Lee, a colleague of his father's, to track down the statue. But, the demons of the dark lord Kaiyan Wang are already there to retrieve it...whatever the cost.

Relentlessly pursued, Jinto and Lafiel make a final attempt to escape enemy territory.

The battle begins and Rear Admiral Spoor dives headfirst into the fray. Back on the planet, the resistance fighters, Jinto, and Lafiel get split up by a police ambush.

Lafiel and Jinto are on the run from United Mankind but find help from an unlikely band of rebels. At the same time, Admiral Trife checks and double-checks his strategy before the upcoming battle for the Sufugnoff Gateway.

The Abh Empire prepares for war. Meanwhile, Lafiel and Jinto’s attempts at blending in with the local populace go awry.

Following their escape from Baron Febdash territory, Lafiel and Jinto are cut off and must initiate an emergency landing on Sufugnoff.

The Baron’s vassals must decide with whom their loyalties lie, and Lafiel’s attempt to rescue Jinto comes to a head.

Lafiel has had enough of Baron Febdash’s supposed “hospitality” and puts her escape plan into effect.

Jinto and Lafiel arrive at Baron Febdash’s territory to refuel, but what starts out as a pleasant sidetrack takes an ominous turn.

The enemy closes in on the Gosroth and the battle begins. Meanwhile, Lafiel and Jinto try to distract themselves from the most likely outcome of the encounter.

The Gosroth is attacked by enemy forces, so the captain orders Lafiel and Jinto to escape to the planet Sufugnoff

Jinto meets the captain of the patrol ship Gosroth and learns more about Lafiel.

Sitting idly in a spaceport, Jinto awaits his Abh chaperone. Having never seen an Abh in person before, reality and his expectations don’t quite match up.

The planet Martine is invaded by an alien race known as the Abh. In order to prevent bloodshed and to guarantee his place among Abh aristocracy, the president surrenders. Years later, his son is tasked with learning the culture of their new rulers.
